This week, it gives us great pleasure to pass the controls over to Dusk Dubs stalwart, General Camel. The General has been an instrumental cog in the Dusk Dubs machine since the first ever post on twitter, even before the mixtape series began. He has been a constant driver of amazing music, amazing ideas and amazing selectors. Although happily in the background, we need to make clear, that every record, from all 41 volumes, has passed his ears for approval before any further steps are taken. That is how much respect we all have for the guy. He also has many conversations, with people I can’t yet mention, about the potential of them doing a volume. So when, for example, someone posts a tune buy a massive artist on twitter, we’re not joking when we say “you emailing him General?” We are blessed that he exists. And he is blessed if he has a beer in his hand and some good music playing. I think, in the hustle and bustle of this industry, everyone needs a General Camel. We have ours, and all I’ll say is this....get your own, as the General belongs to us! Salute!

Here are a few words from the General himself:

“WOW, Vol 41! It's hard to believe #DuskDubs would have come this far from the very 1st Volume way back in August last year. I think it shows how this project is very special and unique. It really is testament to the #DuskDubs team who put a lot of time and effort in to making sure every volume is of highest quality and is released every Sunday without fail, to every selector for bringing their own distinctive sound and personal touch, and of course the people who listen each and every week. BIG UP EVERYONE!

It's always a pleasure when I get to drop my selections off into the #DuskDubs studio for Harrision to work his magic on and I'm sure everyone will agree, he does a great job each and every week. Nice one Tommy!

For this Volume I've added a few personal favourites of mine, from the likes of..... A Man Called Adam, Lemon Jelly, Lamb and a real deep emotional track from Craig Armstrong. I think this volume is a little different from my previous ones but is still perfect for the #DuskDubs mix series. So sit back, crack open a beer and enjoy the music.....

Big shout to Gidman for helping out through my #DuskDubs dilemmas (wobble) on this Volume.....ha ha!
