This week we welcome back to the #DuskDubs studio, the man they call Depoeism, having already provided two previous volumes, you know exactly what you’re going to get from Depo. A volume full of tracks that come straight from the heart, selections that have informed his musical upbringing and that have shaped him as a person, this is also reflected in the artwork that he has chosen to use – taking it back to where it all started for him. It literally speaks “volumes”.
This is what the #DuskDubs family love about Depo, he is truly committed to the #DuskDubs cause, he wears his #DuskDubs heart on his sleeve and without fail, always comes correct when we ask him for a volume.
We love Depo, one of the many things you can learn from him, it’s that positivity outweighs negativity. He’s taught us that if you find yourself in a place that isn’t too great, find something positive that gets you through. He’s an inspiration to us all, personally and collectively. And he’ll never accept it as he’s so bloody humble haha!
Here are a few words from the man himself:
“This selection of Trip-Hop, Jazz and plenty of bass reminds me of back in the day, when things would get a bit too much. I would stick on some jazz infused trip-hop to help me relax and forget about my worries. Living in Grove and then The Avenues was tough as a kid, but my love for Graffiti and music blended with a tight group of friends made me the person I am today.
Bless up fam and enjoy my Journey!
