This week we have a special treat for you. Our resident mixer Tommy is away this weekend so we have asked the brilliant Decoded Magazine to step in and provide our mixtape. The decision was easy, if you've listened to their Decoded Sunday's mixtapes, you will know that they know how to treat you on the wind down from the weekend.

So thanks again to the team at Decoded for providing our Dusk Dubs sounds.

King Unique - Producers Mentality (Interview Outtake - RGK Edit) Taken from an interview between Decoded America editor Amber Long and Matt Thomas. His thoughts here resonated, and I think make for a great introduction.

William Orbit - Water from a Vine Leaf Stone Cold Classic. I liked the tripswitch update, but for me it will always be about the original

St. Germain - Montego Bay Spleen In the making of this mix I stumbled across a load of really old CDs I don’t use anymore and this album was there. Haven’t listened to it in years, and it brought back loads of good memories.

Bonobo - Nightlife Ha! What would a Decoded Mag mix be without Bonobo?!

Lamb - Trans Fatty Acid (Kruder & Dorfmeister Remix) The utter genius production thats gone in to this means this track stands not only the test of time but elevates it to all time classic status.

KAD - Come As You Are Quirky and uncompromising, this cover of Nirvana was an instant yes for this mix

Daughter - Medicine (Sieren Remix) Enough looking back, this guy is AMAZING

Tero Civill - Ballet Dancer (Almost Ambient Remix) Clever and understated, this Finnish producer is a cut above for us.

Jurassic 5 - Concrete Schoolyard The album was on constant repeat at DM Towers last week!

Zero db - Anythings Possible The name says it all. We are all dreamers of dreams.

M83 - Car Chase Terror Massive self indulgence here, but this band absolutely rule! This track reminds me of a scene in a film never made. I love the imagery it creates; the power of music in audio form.

Muffler - Hear Me Scream We love a bit of DnB at DM Towers, these guys and Hospital records where this found a home are top class.

Grooverider - Why I became a DJ (Interview Outtake - RGK Edit) I think this statement will resonate with a lot of DJs in their mid 30s and older, certainly includes me…

A Winged Victory for the Sullen - Steep Hills of Vicodin Tears I thought we’d finish with something emotional. AWVFTS create such rich sonic landscapes with such minimal productions. Just breathtakingly beautiful.
